You were my best friend
I still can't believe you're gone
I never thought that day would come
So I had to stop and think about all the good times
Now all I have is memories
I should have gone to see you when I had the chance
Now I have no chances and I wish I did
I love you very much and I miss you

    I can relate. The last time I saw my grandad was a normal day and I walked away thinking I'd see him again but I didn't; he died suddenly.
    This was well written and touching.
