The start of something special.

Here i tell a story
Of a remarkable weekend
Spent with a wonderful person
Who started out just as a friend

But as the days went on
The attraction I couldn't deny
For I could never keep my eyes of him
Every time he passed me by

I tried so hard to keep locked away
The feelings growing inside
But it seemed that others had noticed
What i was desperately trying to hide

Then on that night he told me
What I'd been longing to hear
He had been feeling the same
That he made perfectly clear

Sharing each others secrets
Telling tales of things from the past
The more time we spent together
Made me realise I was falling fast

Laying in his arms all night
Feeling the touch of his skin
With every moment passing
Fears slipped away from within

Wishing time would stand still
Forever staying in his embrace
For here I knew I'd found a person
In my heart I could never replace.
