Whenever I See You

by Dana   Feb 23, 2007

Whenever I see you in the hall
The butterflies begin to flutter
And when you smile that gorgeous smile
Oh, it makes me shudder

Whenever I see you standing in line
Laughing with a few of your friends
All concentration falls on you
It's so hard to pretend

Whenever I see you walking up the steps
About to approach the door
I get so excited that you're here
Just friends? I think we should be more

Whenever I see you laying on my bed
Watching something on TV
I feel for a moment that you're mine
But then it occurs to me

Whenever I see you standing with her
My heart just breaks
I'm so jealous, I want to be yours
No matter what it takes
