Whats the point of a heart

Whats the point of a heart
if all it does is get torn in 2
because then you get upset and hurt
and you just don't know what to do

in the end they make you lonely
in the end they leave you in pain
but its not a pain that makes you bleed
even though it does stain

i can't believe it happened
mine finally got torn apart
so now i can't love anymore
because i don't have a heart
