Organza

Organza

Does anyone know what organza is?

Orrrrr-Gannnnn-Zaaaaaa

The truck driver is sure it's a part for a '67 Peterbilt.
It fits next to the differential.
Something to do with lubricating it.
He thinks he remembers an old driver talk about it.

The florist is sure it's a tropical flower.
From Tahiti he thinks.
He'll order one for you if you want.
He remembers that they are very beautiful.

My doctor says he's sure it's part of the pancreas.
Next to the Isles of Langerhans.
They regulate insulin production he thinks.
I look for his graduation certificate on his wall.

The history professor I know is certain it's the site of a famous battle.
Napoleon defeated a Spanish army there.
1801 he thinks.
The battle somehow led to his eventual downfall.

My Italian neighbor says it's a fine wine from the homeland.
A dry and earthy taste.
He remembers it fondly from his younger days.
He had too much at his wedding.

The girl at the cosmetics counter remembers it well.
It was a Givenchy fragrance launched in 1996.
Honeysuckle, amber, nutmeg, vanilla, and gardenia.
Recommended for day-wear.

All are wrong it appears.
The bridesmaids of a friend showed me.
It's an open weave fabric, heavier and crisper than silk gauze.
It has a smooth, flat finish, and is strong and durable.

No it's not.
I remember where I heard that name before.
I was in my teens.
She was the first stripper I ever saw.
