Love is a four letter word
It can roll easily off the tongue
He may tell you a million times he loves you
and not mean a single one

He gives promises to the death of him
He swears up and down he's in love
But love is just a four letter word
And words just aint enough

He can give you gifts to try and persuade
Trying to buy your affection
But gifts are only material things
And love and objects have no connection

He fills your head with false truths and lies
While trying to lead you to his bed
He says that he wants to make love with you
But all you get is sex instead

Its about actions not what you can talk
Yes I'm sure you all have heard
So until you show me you care
Love is just a four letter word
