A day at the park.

by Seth Rowley   Apr 6, 2004

I watch as the cars go by.
Also i look up in the sky.
I see birds flying in peace.
Walking my dog with a leash.
It almost seems like heaven but it's not.
The sun is blazing and sure is hot.
I'm looking for a drink of water.
The dog's pulling me and I'm getting hotter.
Then all of a sudden, i see a water fountain.
It looks as good to me, as a waterfall flowing off a mountain.
I go up to it and i drink away.
I'm drinking so much, you would think it's my last day.
I stop because there's a fine female jogger in back of me.
And she is as fine as she can be.
So like a gentleman, i let her have a drink.
Were start talking to each other and I'm afraid that i stink.
Because I've been running all day with my dog.
And I'm sweating like a hog.
So i politely tell her bye.
And i feel like I'm fixing to die.
Because I'm out of breath.
I go home and sleep, like i have just accepted death.
