Epic Poem (Episode 1)

by Afraid of the Dark   Feb 25, 2007

"A man fought a dragon,"
That's how I'll start,
"The dragon was fierce,
But true the knight's heart."

An epic tale of
Battle and duel,
Of princesses kind,
And kings, Oh so cruel!

"Now this fair knight,
Fought with bad Hades,
Quick with the sword,
Admired by all, especially the ladies!"

To here and to now,
"A dragon and Knight,
Locked in a duel,
'Till death they will fight."

What will come next?
You're, on the edge of your seat,
Will the knight stake his heart?
Or will he fry in the heat?

The pen is now steady,
What will it write?
Oh no, not like that,
It will give you a fright!

"Nor dragon or man,
Will win this duel,
But down sweeps a vampire,
Hated by all."

"He grabs the fair knight,
And sucks all his blood,
It can't end like this!
He was such a fine stud!"

Don't you be troubled,
By that poor mite,
He will be reincarnated,
By the end of tonight.

Now on with the story,
"In a large city,
Lies our next hero,
Oh, she's so pretty."

She's not a hero!
I hear you cry,
You should see her fight!
A chorused reply.

But where's all the leather,
That heroes must wear,
She wears nothing but cloth,
With a flower in her hair.

"She looks more like a princess,
Said the guard to her right,
He swallowed his words,
When she started to fight. "

Thrashing and kicking,
She can not be slew,
We'll se how she turns out,
In episode two!

OK i just thought i would have a bit of fun. . .
