Funeral

by Afraid of the Dark   Apr 16, 2007

Black lace, Frames the soft white face.
A white rose, Ends each of the darkened rows.
A tear, Falls for our friend so dear.
A curtain, Ends her life for certain.

I found this poem to be really beautifully sad. It was short but showed so much emotion in every line of this poem. The style was great and it flowed beautifully. Loved the ryhme you had going on it made the poem seem so much stronger. I dont understand how anyone could vote this poem under a 5. This definitly deserves a 5/5 from me. Well done on an emotionally sad poem. ~mel
