Unknown Mystery

by Dina   Feb 26, 2007

On the shelf there sat a book,
Of which I had to give a look

And once I had it in my hand
This feeling came, which I could not understand

What, why, when and how
I'm still puzzled even now

The story of mine was inside
So many things I wanted to hide

My past, present and future
My features and my hidden nature

I took this book to read it through
And every time I thought it was over
A new thing did I discover

In the story I fought, wept and cried
But in the end I stood and survived

For in the book I was the hero
In the book I was strong

And in life I'm determined to dance on the rhythms of my own song
I'm determined to move along,
because I'm the hero, and in that there is no wrong
