Secrets of a Suicide Attempt

by *~elika~*   Feb 26, 2007

They all saw it coming
They all knew what she was planning to do
But they didn't know what she was doing in her room
She prepared for this night
Loaded gun, sharp blade, long rope and bottle of God knows what
She could die in whatever way she wants
She didn't want to taste the sting of bad taste
Nor did she want rope marks on her neck
And a gun meant her flawless skin distorted
But the blade would leave a hardly seen line
The blade will take away the life that just lasted until
one-nine
' Tonight is the night. I will see the stars glisten for the final time,
The cogs of my life will finally stop
It's time for me to take my jump,
And hope to God I hit the ground and die '
A sigh escaped her mouth
She bit her lip to silence her shout
Place the blade at a sure hit
Closing her eyes a she began to slit
Her parents finally got the hint
Running up the stairs to find the door locked
Blood was dripping down her wrist
Her death didn't come so swift
Because the blade didn't go so deep
For there was a promise she still had to keep
To the guy that held her heart's key
The promise that haunts her in her sleep
