Goodbye Prince

by Chyrelle   Feb 26, 2007

He is enjoying the light.
His day seems so right.
But he didn't see in hindsight,
That his life would end tonight.

He goes about his day.
Everything is going okay.
Maybe if at home he stayed,
Then it may have gone another way.

He had no real problems with life.
He wasn't going through much strife.
Now he would never have a wife,
With whom to share his life.

He went out that night for fun.
Problems, no he had none.
But he didn't know before the day was done,
That never again would he see the sun.

To the car he made a dash.
Into a building did that car crash.
No time out for him to lash.
Because his life ended in a flash.

His death hit us so deep.
We pray in heaven God will keep.
So here on earth we weep,
For our dear prince who will forever sleep.
