Saddest Lie, Happiest Good-Bye

Remove the hurt. Take it all away, I hate the influence it has over me, the way it has turned me against those that I love, anger seeps through my veins and love leaves my heart empty with the thoughts and memories of the way I loved even though you were undeserving and how you proved time and again just how ungrateful you were.
But don't think you're still in my life you are nothing but a paragraph of released emotion, I kicked you to the curb and haven't looked back, where old love ends new love begins and there's no room for you and the memories we had. I've erased you completely and opened my heart to this new experience, so for now I want to thank you, thank you for showing me just how naive I was because you were my saddest lie and my happiest good-bye.
