Autumn

by Ben Matthews   Feb 26, 2007

Winters almost here,
Another year has passed,
The colours changing in the leaves,
The flowers dying in the grass,

The warm days have turned cold,
But my hearts still warm for you,
For although the seasons change,
My feelings, they stay true,

The birds are flying south,
And the squirrels hide away,
So let’s sit down by the fire,
And enjoy this autumn day.

I really liked this a lot ,the rhymes and the rhythm was good, you might want to edit the next to the last line, the punctuation marks.
