Who, What, Where, Why, How?

by Sakura   Feb 27, 2007

You tell me I don't look happy

You ask why
I tell you I cry
You ask where
I tell you I don't care

You ask who has hurt me
I tell you you can't see
You ask what they have done
I tell you they took away my sun
You ask how they stole it
I tell you they took the happiness it lit

You tell me the world was still a happy place
I tell you nothing, you could see my face
You said I'll be able to laugh again one day
I tell you that doesn't mean I'll be okay

You think I don't believe you
I tell you I don't think it's true
You ask how to convince me
I tell you to set me free
You ask me how you can
I ask you to be my man

You tell me I look happy

An intereting poem I think. I like your way of starting and ending this piece of work, it was creative and quite meaningful. Whoever gave you a 1.0 must have not read the poem right. Sorry, that's my opinion. Don't let it get you down! Keep on writing!! :D Hatori
