As she cries in my shadow

by Dasha   Feb 28, 2007

The lies unraveled,
i made myself the victim.
she cries in my shadow,

watching the tears run down her cheek...
the pain causes nothing but,
stress and depression.
I've drown her in misery,
to her last peek.

When she cries in my shadow
i just wish i could escape..
run and find a peaceful meadow.

I'm only a child,
she's so much older.
Never knew i could be so wild,
so much bolder.

I've ruined her life,
Now afraid of what i might become.
Only hurting those who come near to me.

As she cries in my shadow.
All those tears could start river,
while all my fears have come much clearer.

Look what i've done,
she dies away slowly,
as i fade away lonely.
