Excuse me Miss (part 2)

by Scott Clarke   Mar 1, 2007

Oh my God I said to myself,
How did you get my number?
You dropped your phone,
I picked it up.

She said she was calling to tell me she still loves me,
And she is looking forward to tomorrow,
So am I, I replied.

She changed the meeting point,
What if we meet in a small park?
Down by the valley ocean,
Where the sun looks beautiful,
And the trees blow gently.

I replied that sounds romantic,
Ok see you then. (She hangs up the phone gently)

I then think oh my God I should get her some flowers,
I really love this girl,
I feel she is the perfect and loving girl for me.
So I head out and buy some flowers.

The next morning keeping my mind on,
Being at the park at 11am,
After spending the whole night deciding what I should where,
It was going to be a 40 degree day,

I choose some nice black suit pants
With a blue silky shirt,
I walk into the florist and pick out the most expensive flowers,
It's a nice set of roses.

I then catch the bus to the park,
I get to the park and there she is,
In a nice red dress, she looks like an angel,

We sit down and talk to each other,
About our lives and where we live,
Then she tells me when we leave she wants me to meet her parents,
I replied I would be delighted.
