you seem to be distant, you seem not to care,

Ever since we last talked to each other you seem not to notice that I'm still close to you, you act like it's not there you act like you don't care but I know you seem to wonder if I still care. I don't care to be your couple I care to be your friend something I was back then.
Ever since I decided to move on you think I don't need you but I do because you were my friend that was always so true.
Ever since you've been so distant there's only one thing I'd like to do, go back in time and change the fact that we ever dated because if we would have just stayed friends there wouldn't be any reason for this non-sense or this poem "Ever Since."
