My Final Goodbye

Dear grandpa,

I know you in a better place,
A place where you can golf all day and there is always sunshine.
I know your watching over me and everything I do,
I know you'll watch as I go to prom, graduate high school and college, get married and have kids.
I know your watching as everyone cry's wondering why and wanting us to be happy.
I just wish I had one my day,
one more month,
one more year with you.
You were supposed to be there when I graduated,
When I got married,
You were supposed to dance with me at my wedding.
But now your gone,
and I just want to curl up into a ball and be alone.
But I know that's not what you would want me to do,
So as I write this as hard as it is,
and it will take much time.
I will live my life and one day I know we will meet again.
