A Beautiful Baby Girl

This is the month
The month i shouldve had you
The doctors told me
What they already knew

I thought you were healthy
Thats all i asked for
But that was before
I walked through the doors

The Dr's said you were already sick
You wouldn't survive, it was already too late
I prayed and hope it was all just a trick
But sadly it wasn't

So i talked to your daddy
and we had to decide
to induce my labor
that night all night i just cried

before i knew it
here you was
in my arms you were so tiny
only 1 pound 1 ounce

you were a blessing
a beautiful baby girl
if i oculd i would switch places in an instance
now you're with papa
tell him "hi"
until I'm with you again
Ill smile at the sky
