Past, Present and Future

by Amber   Mar 2, 2007

Sometimes you amaze me
To the point of no return
I stay up at night just thinking about it
And in the end I burn

My friends don't know about you
And hopefully that will keep
I talk about you so much
THEY can't even sleep

I know that I still want you
Even though you are far from my reach
I have passion and desire deep inside of me
Which is something school cannot teach

I'd like to make some examples
Even though "shh" no one is to be told
I hope that this poem will show
What I cannot say enough be bold

Cheating is a sin
One that I never take part in
Until you came along my dear
Now I am just another has been

My feelings for you are deep
Maybe enough to be love
I just don't know how to tell you
That I wish for you to be my dove

I want us to be lovers
For all the world to see
Unfortunately It's not that easy
We're going to get stung by the bee

I know that I have said this
Time and time again
I want your more than just physically
Let my tyranny's body stop its reign.

I don't want to be your addiction
In a world so full of drugs
There is no remedy for this disease
You're like a dog with fleas

So hear these parting words
As they fly from my mouth
It's either me or her
You cannot have my body and her heart

(This is about a....somewhat interesting relationship that I have with a friend of mine.)

I like it. I have a slightly alike problem and I can't get the words down enough for it to be a poem. But good job =D
