Dark

by Paula   Mar 3, 2007

The sky is full of stars,
shining like the head lights from cars,
one by one they fade in the distance,
now the sky is half lit,
only half remain,
who takes the blame,
maybe we say their name.
i look up again and only few remain,
should i run or take the blame.
next time i look,
one single star remains,
it looks like a small candle flickering,
i cant breathe, if i do its darkness,
i hold my breath, holding on
holding on for what.
i breathe.
alone i stand.
