My Sister Through an Through

by **MIMI**   Mar 4, 2007

We may not share the same blood group, not be anyway related,
But to me you are a sister, someone I never could have hated.
All the good times I have had, the memories I will never forget,
You are there all the time, the times I will never regret.
The hardest I have ever laughed, its the days when we were at school,
When we were young and happy, and we took no notice of the rules.
But gradually we grew up, but never grew apart,
The good times got better, but men would break our hearts.
When my path was over shadowed, you would always lighten the way,
When I felt no one cared, you were behind me every day.
A sister you are to me, even though we are not blood related,
A friend in a million, someone I never could have hated.
Because friends are for life, and we both know that men come and go,
So we just stuck by eachother over the years, it certainly does show.
As for when we were young, such a beautiful couple was we,
It was always me and you, there was never room for three.
We had our other friends, but back to eachother we came,
Telling all the gossip, and about our other friends shame.
If your ever feeling down, I will still always lift you high,
Put a smile on your face, You know this is not a lie.
A friend is someone you can trust, family you have to choose,
They are not blood related, very easy to lose.
But you my friend I trust, and I know I will never lose you,
Even though we are not blood related, you are my sister, through and through.
