Growing Pains

by **MIMI**   Jan 2, 2007

As the years pass by, my memories start to fade,
The innocense of my soul, now is darkened in the shade.
The sweet smile of a little girl, sometimes shines through,
But the lost days are behind me, and there is nothing i can do.
Change your ways while your young, I should have known,
I disobeyed every rule, and i regret it now i have grown.
School, the best days of your life, certainly not in my case,
My life went from bad to worse, and in an extremely fast pace.
I had a dream all my life i carry it with me until this day,
That i can sing in front of thousands, and something could go my way.
But the hurt and the pain that i have suffered, still remain with me.
I just wish that i could stand tall, and break myself free.
Getting to a point of pain, easier said than done,
Healing yourself from hurt, wanting to have a little fun.
Being the centre of attention for reasons that are bad,
People staring at you, turning up there nose, makes me feel so sad.
Hiding behind a wall, so no one can see your pain,
Drinking everyday, nothing in life you feel you will gain.
These are my growing pains, the things i done wrong,
Nothing in this world could change, which I undoubtedly long.
