Disapointment

by Mackenzie   Mar 5, 2007

If only you could see the look in your eyes
There was no more twinkle
Tears took its place
Red spread around them.

I knew you trusted me
But I broke that trust
Tore it apart
And left it there.

Everything about that moment
Broke my heart.
I knew right then
You were disapointed in me.

It was my fault
I broke that promise
That trust.
I know I couldn't bring it back.

Now I can't say anything
To bring back that trust.
And I can't turn back time
To stop myself.

But I can tell you "I Love You"
And hope that it will make it better.
But nothing can make that trust
The same anymore.

Maybe you''l forgive me
Act like nothing happened.
It's my fault that you cry
Now I'm disapointed in myself.
