Not A Day Goes By

Not a day goes by,
That I have not thought of you,
After all this time,
I am still in love yes its true

I still wish on every star,
And I still cry every night
I only want to be with you,
And for you to hold me tight

The minutes turn into hours,
As the hours turn into days
But the pain is always there,
It never goes away,

Still every long day passes,
And I cry even more sorrowful tears,
Praying one day you will come back
And help me through my fears

If you ask me how I am doing
I would say just fine,
But the truth really is,
You are always on my mind

    Your pen flows with tears. A beautifully sad poem that reaches in and grips your heart. If I have read your profile correctly it says you are 13 years old. What a wonderfully woven piece for someone of your age. A definite talent you have sweets.
