Painful love

by LoveYou   Mar 6, 2007

I look into her eyes
And listen to what she has to say
Her words sound too familiar
Ive heard them all before
As if in an other life

She wonders why
Searching for an answer
That could help her cope with the pain
So deep that shed give anything to make it stop

She prays for the help of God
Hoping hell hear her prayer
The truth is shes never fallen so hard
Making endless wishes of only one thing
She runs out of stars up in the sky

It hurts more than anything to see her like this
I know exactly what shes thinking
How wrong she truly is

I was exactly where she was
All too many times before
But now was her turn
She looks at me for guildence
And theres nothing left to tell her
That I havent told myself

The end fades into the beginning
And soon enough it starts all over again

Shes never wanted anything more
But even now it would be too late
And shell never let it go
Nothing will ever be the same

And what hurts the most
Is knowing that I in some way
Contributed to this pain
The one person she loved more than anyone else
Had never loved her
For he was always too in love with me
And now, my best friend was never going to be the same

All because we made that one mistake.
