It is really sad how people like this go unnoticed, usually until it is too late. There are so many cases of abusees that are too shy and too embarassed to reveal their secret and they just become the nobodies.
This poem reminds me of a poem i wrote.
I hope that anyone who is able to overcome this situation is one of the strongest people in the world.
    Great write, and flawless.

    You caught it perfectly.
It's horrid that abuse is so normal and is starting to be viewed as part of life. I had to live with it through my sister and it's been almost two years now and she still hasn't healed all that much in any way. The reason a lot of people who have lived through it don't come forward is because they think that it was their fault even if their children.
All you can do is try to help them start over and learn that not everyone is going to hurt them like that.

This was a beautiful poem, but the rhyming scheme was a little off. Fix it and it will be fantastic! <3.

The last stanza was my favorite..In the first "too" should have been "to". The rhyme sheme was off a bit also.. I think if you fixed it up a bit it would be great..It was full of emotion and so true for lots of people. 4/5
