Beloved Journal III; My Old Katie

by DeathlyAmore   Mar 6, 2007

What a life changing female.

The reason I still live today.
You saved my life in ways she does not know
My life is a debt, to her whom I'll always owe.

Heart break after heart break
I truly believed this time it would be different
only 2 days of bliss until secrets were told
A promise to another male she wanted hold

She promised to "Consummate" with this Male
A break up was needed with my heart torn two
I waited through the summer, as i knew what she is to do
But still I hoped, this promise she wont keep true

A mind painful summer passed
the break up was final
as i turn to the blade to let my blood run
realizing what I did cannot be undone

By some miracle she was told about the blade and me
as she yelled in anger and seeming worried
She forced me to promise and keep this Vow true
"Never hurt yourself for another female for they are not worthy of you"

Because of that Vow she forced me to say
I have always kept it true
Through an ironic twist of fate
She saved my life ... even till this Date.

~Boy this poem is really OLD!, i found it on my journal recently, Well... yup!~

    That was a fantastic poem =) 5/5 =D
I understand wanting to cause yourself pain for someone of the other sex but this was very true, anyone that can hurt you like that isn't worth your time or the pain =P
    Wonder work =)
