Butterfly Kisses

by I Seem to be the Heartless   Mar 7, 2007

The butterflies climbed out of their cocoons,
As he turned to look into my eyes.
They tested their wings,
Flapping them softly,
As he took my hand.
Then, when he leaned over to kiss me,
The butterflies took flight.
They flew around my tummy,
Bumping into one another,
Their wings tickling my insides.
I giggled from pure excitement
At both the kiss and the tickles..

Oh these butterflies,
Oh that man.
What I would give to have him kiss me again
And have those butterflies
Take flight once again...
