Hope

by Glen   Mar 7, 2007

As I close my eyes in total silence.
I forget the world and all it’s violence.
One free from pain and strife.
That comes from sin in ones life.
I imagine now just you and me.
Expressing love from thou to thee.
A scene I pray I never leave.
Just like the time of Adam and Eve.
How awesome to live prior to the fall
Before sin built it’s boundary wall.
Freely giving and receiving love.
An open door to heaven above.
No longer in a world with heartache and pain.
Where giving love seems to be in vain.
As I open my eyes I hear your mighty voice.
Saying your kingdoms here it’s only a choice.
With faith we have hope beyond our loss.
But only through the power of the cross.

This is so beautiful and powerful. Its really good to see someone so passionate and unashamed of what they believe in. Great piece! 5/5
