Silent Truth

With in the silence
I hear only the past
You haunt me
I don't know how
To escape your hell
I can't stand the quiet
It only brings you back
You said I'll miss you
But I didn't believe it
Now I long to tell you
Everything I've ever felt
With silence comes the truth
You were here for me
And I left you
The past is done
But I've still got the future
I promise to be there
If you will give me that chance

    I almost cried when I read this because I had someone in mind the whole time ~ A poem is really strong when it can pull out a certain emotion ~ Wonderfully written, I added it to my favorites ~
