After

by Unrequited   Mar 9, 2007

We are not alive anymore.
drowned by sorrow,
buried in mourning.

swallowed up and born again
into a love renewed.
from our death,
our souls create new life.

we are not alive,
but our hearts have become one.

This kind of gives a mixed message betwwen death and life and this is good to make people think but be careful not to make it too confusing.... this one tempts that line but you did a good job on not crossing...very daring but very good

This is beautiful, it was so sweet, your poems flow so smooth and slow,

That was a good poem - I just recently got married and the whole thing of two becoming one (which I used to think was such a cliche) is so true. You feel like you survive with one heartbeat and that you're not your own life anymore (not that you loose your individuality through it - you just gain so much more). Good poem. :)
