The things i find hard in life

by Lillye   Mar 10, 2007

When living in a world that doesn't/t even care
It/s hard to get to grips, whilst drowning in despair
It/s hard to understand, what life is all about
When the right choices you fail to take, and your opinions you begin to doubt

When living in a home, which echoes with disaster
And those amazing days, that always seem to go faster
It/s hard to accept, that things have to end
Having to return, having to constantly pretend

When stepping foot each day, in a building filled with dread
Having to deal with the consequences, things I wish I never said
It/s hard to hold your head up high, accept just who you are
When everyone else seems to stand, in a place that seems so far

When feeling so ashamed, of the person I'm told does mean a lot
It/s hard to hide my true emotions, when feeling so distraught
It/s hard to say OK to a question that shatters truth
To take away the innocence, the thought perfect false youth

When crying out the pain, that many never even bothered to see
It/s hard to be heard, to give out your final plea
It/s hard to say to someone, No, I'm not OK
When wondering to yourself, if they knew. Would they even stay?
