Life

by Kevin Pike   Mar 12, 2007

No one knows why hate consumes people
Or why love is for ever complicated
This might be because life is such a mystery
And its untold being remains yet to be solved
But what if life wasn't a mystery?
Would all our problems just vanquish
And then flow into the river of what our dreams conceive of
Would everything around us just stop in a emotionless daze
And ponder on what their mind can dream up
Then would come along the ray of sunshine that everyone is so desperate
to see
But yet they do not no why
To them its just a way of knowing that what can be real is real
And what ever they touch, feel and hear is a burden of all that is good
in life
They know there immortal surroundings within their heart is keeping them
safe
And away from such danger which life can bring to ones self
But there is always one thing that bites at them the most
And that is the thought of not knowing what is life
but what is the purpose of it
