Dealing with the Pain

Its been over a week since you left us
Each person you loved in tears
We thought of you, filled with pain
Your death was our biggest fear

With you gone our school just snapped
Placing us into different cliques
But with some words and a world to love
We broke up all their tricks.

Walking through the hall I wait by your locker
Just to find you're no longer alive
The tears just fall freely holding myself together
Just a call you would have survived.

We all know life isn't easy
But this is just absurd
You'd think a loss would change them,
That this torture would be cured.

The thoughts that cross my mind,
My friend I wish you knew
You could tell me anything,
I'd be here for you.
