I'll Always Be There

Take a few minutes
And look out your window
In the dark of the night
You will see a special glow

And if you look into the moon
You may see a beautiful face
For that’s how you make her feel
You've taken her to a special place

And as she looks down upon you
Try to hear the lyrics in her heart
Words filled with passion
Feelings as two lovers are apart

She thinks you are the best
For you are the handsomest in her eyes
But you have a powerful inner soul
Just thinking of you leaves deep sighs

So, as you are pushing her away
Know this within your heart
She has many wonderful memories
Treasure she will, as you two part

And I dare you to try
Counting the stars out of touch
The brightest to say "I Love You"
And millions others reminding how much

And if she ends up there tomorrow
Her feelings will never change
Simply close your eyes
She'll forever be in close range.

    Darlin, I love this poem. I love knowing that the passion is so strong that it will always be there even as two lovers are apart. It reminded me of a quote I heard.." if every time I thougth of you I could pull a star from the sky surely this evening we would have a starless night." It would be nice to be loved this deeply.     this is certainly the best stanzas i have read in a long time...this is a superb poem for sure

    This was so beautiful!
    That last stanza was just *sigh* it made me feel mushy inside haha.
