Photographic Angle

Wings darting as you fly high in the sky
These words seem to be forbidden to speak, but I miss you
I want to hear you again, even though it's just a little hi
Create me a day of happiness of the painted skies, and don't forget Mr. Lou
A day of laughter and fun, but the day ends with a bitter goodbye

Painted days with purple clouds
Dictionary in our minds has no words to say
Losing the glint in your eye as you take the final bows
Please rewind the old mind-camera back to yesterday
Erase the picture of the sad colored funeral gowns
Unlock the coffin, come back, and continue to stay

The day of rain and wind is to hard to forget
Faceless faces of unknown people came to cry
Why do we hold the lost of you, when days of colors aren't kept?
We are all too vulnerable. We are lost in this state of the everlasting bye
I must learn to live without you, even though the pictures of you still are left

The old house isn't the same any more
The smell has gone with you, but your presents lingers still there
We try to forget by painting the walls, and give the house a new decor
But the pictures are a reminder of the days. The days we all do share
In my emotional state of mind I try to say how much of you I do adore

In words I try to paint you to life again
In words I will recall your face again
In these words I try to say how much I love you
Oh grandpa in these words I dedicate this poem to you.
