It was okay, but it should ahve something bout LOVE in it

My heart beats faster.
Blood rushing through my veins.
I touch the pen to the page
And I write away my pains.

I write away my pains... WOW! LOVED that line its a great poem! Definetly a 5/5!

This is a heartfelt, touching poem and I think it is amazing. I made a few minor changes for flow. Take it or leave it, this would be a good one to enter in your contest.

I close my eyes
And let the ink flow.
I try to make sense
Of [all that OR these things that] I know.

My head starts spinning.
My ears start to pound.
I'm off of the planet;
I can't touch the ground.

I let out the dreams
I've held onto so long.
I try to make right
[in] this world full of wrong.

This poem has wonderful flow. You'd do good in one of my contests.

=) this was good... i liked it alot. :) the flow was good, and the idea was pretty realistic. Half of us write to get rid of pain...you put it into words :)..
