Daydreamer

by NytherHerenorTher The hooded poet   Mar 15, 2007

I'm always looking, but seldom here,
mind flying through the air
Busy thoughts, hopes and dreams,
and impossible things

Will you take a walk with me,
discover my heart, the part you don't see?
There is no map large enough to plot the dreams of my mind,
the things only seen through my eyes

Here one moment, gone the next,
to go to the Grand Canyon, then in class, read the text
I'm a wonderer,a seeker, a ponderer, a thinker,
flipping my way through the channels of the unknown

I can be here in the moment, and have a conversation, but flash to a different world,
a different nation
In my head, I can make things work, master
of illusion, god of the surreal

Warp space time, into a molecule I shall climb,
gazing upon its glory
My world invisible to the naked eye, it transcends the regular sky

Smelling the glistening dew, of mountain air,
grasping the intangible
Colors never seen before, I can create,
touch the walls of Atlantis, enter its gates

With its golden pinnacles, tress a deep green,
water crisp and clear, like a liquid chandelier
Bending reality is my specialty, to travel to the furtherest galaxy, so......

Call me what you like to my face, and make it clear,
but i know, I'll be a Daydreamer
