Him and her

by Ana Vidovic   Mar 16, 2007

Sanity was not an option.
In her mind, the line of woe, had been crossed far too long ago
She, the awakened; left there to swallow in her misery,
Died a slow and painful death from the inside out
Foreshadowed by her grieving, he comes to her in the darkness of the night.
His benevolent aura, wrapping her around the realms of what she so desired;
Speak not, he told her.
Your beauty is one that requires no words

No mortal being shall fall upon those words with mirth, as they are not spoken often.
They are those from within, for the look of her languid eyes said more alone,
Cos speech cannot compress the dues that have been burdened upon her soul.
Each painful sore, was lifted by the touch of an angel so pure,
Her mournful tear-stained cheeks dropped their hollow hue-
And the lacquer that had once stained her face peeled off
as she became infinite with his tender love.

The darkness of his voice appealed to her.
As disappeared the red stained dagger that once reigned supreme in her mind.
The reminder of her death, the blasphemous curse, which befell upon her,
had vanquished with the lack of mortal thoughts to support it.
And yet, aware of the previous treachery, she follows...
lead into the tomb of darkness yet tomb of unknown light
For on the surface of the water lies the magnificent lilies which captivated her eyes,
Yet could burn her delicate skin with a whisper of the wrong words,
And as she draws back in pain, they attain the power to stab her once again.
- Immortalizing her this time, however

Once again, he appears. Mask the desolate fear which burned like fire from within
But she filled the void, as he did hers, and perfection was no longer
The unattainable figure that ruled their minds, but rather the goal, the passion.
The rage within both their hearts, the desire to love, nor stolen, nor falsified like the others
Lie stricken like an old flame, anticipating for its ignite,
Together, their kingdom shall thrive, building on the vines of their intertwined veins, the mortal blood which now runs through both of them,
They shall love, a never ending love, live a never ending tale, in tranquillity.
