How it all began

One night i looked upon a star
and on this night i wished for you
the crazy thing about it is
the next day my wish came true

it wasnt a specific wish,
just wondering about true love
that day you walked into my life
felt like a sign from up above

you were my angel sent
and i saw it right away
but never in my mind
thought you'd be here to stay

everything seemed so perfect
and in reality it was
thinking fairy tales don't exist
then realizing it does

when i look at you i see love
in everyway the word can be used
but in the beginning we have to admit
we were both a bit confused

how could something that once seemed so wrong
turn out to feel so right
but we've overcome it all
and Im thankful to this night

now we say forever
until forever dies
with you my one true love
is where my heart lies
