Get away from all that is real
forget how you think, forget how you feel
live your life as of today and forget whats gone by
live only the truth and never the worlds lies
go on with life, be cautious but be brave

because if you live your life for you and only you alone
you'll be your own king and you'll have your own throne
the world and your peers may tell you what do to do or say
but tomorrow is too worrisome so concentrate on today
things may have gone wrong in your past
but remember that the ones who look back all ways come last
learn from your mistakes because they'll make you twice as wise
help those less fortunate then you, smile at those you despise
and once your life is over, once the journey's done
you'll know you lived your life to the fullest, and you'll know that you have won
or yesterday is hopeless and tomorrow's still yet far away
but in the end the only thing that will matter is what you do today.
