Till The End

by behindxthextears   Mar 18, 2007

We were driving down the road
you looked at me, i looked at you
you smiled at me,
now everyday that smiles all i can see
you rubbed my hand and winked
i looked at the road and my heart sinked

when i woke up,
i was in a white room
i looked around but couldn't find you
then i saw your mom by my bed side
she looked at me crying
and whispered he's dieing

feeling helpless and useless
i heard your mom say
something i wish i never heard that day
as i laid there in that bed
she told me that you were dead
my heart sank, i started crying
she told me to hang on and keep on trying
but how could i live with out you?
To say that I could I'd be lying
every day i would find myself dieing

they gave me your possessions
this was one of life's hardest lessons
i looked threw your coat pocket
finding things,
that brought back so many memories
then i found a black box
i opened it to try and see
what was in there was for me
a ring, that symbolized our love
on the bottom was engraved
"my gift from above"

I cant tell you how much i miss you
the love that we had was true
i wished it was me instead of you
that was taken from this life so soon
but my heart with you forever remains
there will never be another that i could love that way
so until the day we meet again
my heart is were i keep you, till the end
