This thing called life

by olivia   Mar 18, 2007

Her heart throbbing
her eyes drenched and sobbing
cursing and yelling
she's always dwelling
constantly hoping this pain will ease
just crying and begging on her knees
she tries running away
but can't even leave for a day
looking back in the past
she wishes that moment was her last
seeing what she had
only makes her sad
whispers to herself "this house is no longer a home"
she knows she can't leave because she has nowhere to roam
held captive inside
but nowhere to hide
dying in her heart
it's a broken piece of art
this thing called life
tore her apart.
