Too good to last

A new pain works deep into my heart,
The thought that we are falling apart.
The ******* pain just wont go away,
As we are going trough another miserable day.

Is it the feeling we try to ignore,
We replace it with pain that hurts down to core.
Can the truth hurt more than this?
I ******* hate when it is you I miss.

I surely know what caused my pain,
And this wont be washed away with the rain.
I hid my feelings once more,
Putting salt on a fresh sore.

But why are you building a wall between,
Are you scared that something could be seen?
Or I am someone forgotten in the past,
It was just too good to last.
