My Emotions

by sheila   Mar 20, 2007

I lay here in this empty bed,
while thoughts of you run through my head.

I wish I could turn over and feel you here,
but instead I wipe away a tear.

Being alone without you is do damn rough,
but I hide my emotions and I act tough.

I hate this feeling of being without you,
but I wonder do you feel this way too?

I wish you could be me for a day,
then there would be nothing to say.

I want you with me all the time,
but the only way I can tell you is through my rhyme.

I miss you, want you, and need you so
but I know I must be patient though.
