Pirates Life for thee

by CaNdy GuRl   Mar 20, 2007

Civilization ends with thee,
at the waters edge and with the sea.
Wild cry's, crazy eyes
living like a man with a goodbye.

When you see thee,
your time shall be up.
Bandits, and thief's on the sea
exploding cannons, blasting guns
when you see thee your time shall be up

A captains cry's
will make you sigh.
For blood upon the hands of thee
will tell him its time
Murder, death, and fear
makes up a captains cry

Let thee chant the song,
the song of the pirates.
Let you remember,
remember a time where a pirates life was all you knew.

For thee a maiden has arrived,
with looks like a siren.
she will make you cry.
Your eyes will rot and you will die
but that is all apart of a pirates goodbye.

Evil has overcome thee,
a pirate you must be.
For thee has sung the pirate song,
and drunk the pirates tea.
a pirate you must be
Its a Pirates Life for thee....

It feels like it was written back in the days, and I can almost imagine a 16th century poet writing this down. I really liked the approach you took for your pirate poem!
