Missing you Poppop

Poppop i will never forget
The smile on your face
When you got to see me and my sisters.
It's not fair that, that cancer had to take over you.
I know nanny was calling your name, but did you have to leave us?
I remember going to your house after pre-school, and you freezing grapes for me to eat as a snack.
You always used to greet me by saying "hey fruit-loop!"
i miss that and i miss you.
Everyday i think of what life would be like if you were still here.
What mom and dad would be like if you were still her.
And even what my sisters would be like.
I know your in heaven smiling down, but i wish you were here smiling down.
I'm waiting for that day when I'll be with you and Nanny.
