I'm knocking at heavens door

by Christina   Mar 20, 2007

You have turned my heart hard and cold, so that we will be together till we are old.
Making it so I can't feel, making it so my world is unreal.
Tears stream from my eyes but have no meaning, because you took away my feeling.
Blood from my heart spills to the floor, soon I'll be knocking on heavens door.
You killed me inside long ago, and a statue is all you have to show.
You never thought of me, never gave a care really.
A moving statue you have created, leaving all my loved ones devastated,
I'm knocking on heavens door hoping they will let me in, think of the good times and forgive my sin.
I've been gone so very long, there was no hope all along.
Inside this hollow shell once lived a heart, that you did tear apart.
Not a tear did you shed, once you found I was dead.
At only fifteen I took my life, taking it with a steel knife.
At midnight it was done, this game you had won.
I'm knocking on heavens door, tears a poor.

........and I'm still knocking on heavens door.
